Blue Reid

Blue refers to her series of doll paintings as her IMPLOSION Series. The dolls engage the viewer, daring them to disagree or agree that although cracked and broken, they are as named, fine. She explores the concept of connection and support through layers of cracks, oil paints, gold leafs and resins to create these imploring and enticing works.
